The Overall Goal The Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe and 7 Cedars’ overall goal in developing a Problem Gambling Program is to provide counseling, information resources, and referrals to help those in our community for whom gambling has become a problem—rather than a form of entertainment. Please take a minute to ask yourself these questions: • Am I irritable or restless when I can’t gamble? • Have I tried to cut back or stop, but can’t? • Have I neglected my family or job because of gambling? • Am I spending more time and money on gambling? • Am I spending a lot of time thinking about gambling? • Does gambling help me escape the troubles of life and make me feel better? • Have I borrowed money from others to pay bills? • Have I gone back another day to win back my losses?
