7 Cedars Hotel
Groundbreaking

General Manager Glenn Smithson introduces our hotel construction project and gives you an idea of what to expect throughout the next year.

Our General Manager, Glenn Smithson, shares exciting news about the groundbreaking for the 7 Cedars Hotel in Sequim, with plans to open to the public in the summer of 2020. Today, the official groundbreaking ceremony has formally begun construction efforts. As work has been underway for about a week now, changes are being made and some interruptions should be expected. Soon guests will be back to enjoying the amenities and hospitality of 7 Cedars.

The property will have 400 additional parking spots and additional RV spots with power. The hotel will contain a meeting space for guests and other amenities which hotels in Sequim and the community need.

While visiting in the Summer, Spring and Fall with so many exciting events such as the Sequim Crab Festival, Sequim Lavender Festival and of course all other tourism in Sequim, it’s difficult to find rooms, but at this hotel and casino they will provide amenities such as the tribal center, gaming, and the Longhouse Market.

In planning for the newest Sequim hotel, the tribal citizens shared their story and it inspired the design of each floor. The bottom floor will be inspired by the sea, the next will be the land, then trees and lastly the sky. This gives guests the opportunity to have a different experience each time they stay at the 7 cedars hotel. The hotel has a variety of room options from Double Queen rooms to Corner Suites which are going to be one of the best places to stay in Sequim because guests will feel at home.

After speaking with neighbors the 7 Cedars team decided to equip the hotel with very exciting technology including keyless entry, temperature control from personal devices and even tablets to request guest services.

They are excited to share all the exciting things happening at the 7 Cedars Hotel in Sequim, so look forward to more updates in the future! Also, feel free to visit 7cedars.com and view the live streaming of construction.
